Community Connection
At FWP, we strongly believe in supporting our local community. Springfield and the surrounding communities have been very loyal to us and we do everything we can to give back to the community. Our company has been and will continue to be strong supporters of such local nonprofit organizations as the United Way, school district foundations, Friend-n-Deed, the Ronald McDonald House and our local hospital foundations.

From time to time, we are able to donate our services to help defray fund raising costs. Whether it is a program for a charity auction or raffle tickets for a golf outing, we try to help when we can. When you are in need of support, please feel free to contact Rick or Lynn Serena well in advance of your event. Whenever possible, we will lend as much support as we can.

From our going the extra distance files:

Many of our clients have been doing work with us for decades. Those long standing relationships have been solidified through years of maintaining a high level of customer service.

Recently, one of our clients was cleaning his grandfather's barn when he discovered a very old, tattered wooden box. Upon closer inspection, he discovered what appeared to be old “printing plates”. He brought the items to his office and called one of our sales people to ask for help in identifying the contents. The box contained old zinc etchings used to print a newspaper article on the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. Knowing what they were and how much they meant to our client, we brought the etchings back to FWP where we then cleaned them up and pulled repro proofs on our Heidleberg windmill letterpress.

The materials were returned to the client with reproductions of the photos suitable for framing by the client.
